Garden City Ministries in Bengaluru, India is a Christ-centered community of believers committed to worship, fellowship, and the teaching of God’s Word. Founded and led by Rev. Dr. Ernest V. George, the church welcomes people from every walk of life to encounter God’s love, experience hope through meaningful worship and relatable sermons, and discover who God has created them to be.

OUR STORY
Garden City International Worship Centre (GCIWC), is a multicultural interdenominational church located in Bangalore, India. It was founded in the year 1994, by Rev. Dr. Ernest V. George at Cox town, Bangalore. A small group of Jesus enthusiast met every Sunday to have an intense time of prayer, worship and powerful word. God began to move mightily in the church through signs and wonders. What started off as a small gathering began to grow in leaps and bounds. Today the church has a global presence. It has been known for its Anointed Worship Service and also powerful proclamation of the word of God. It houses the best musicians in Bangalore city and has a unique worship style with a perfect blend of traditional gospel music and contemporary Christian music.
Prayer, Worship and Word have been the church culture. The church has also been involved in many missionary activities ever since its conception and has reached out to different groups of people all over South India.
Garden City International Worship Centre is currently located at one of the best state of art Auditoriums in Bangalore City, Nava Jeeva Convention Centre. God has also blessed the church with a good property in the vicinity, which will be completed very soon.
God has graciously blessed the church and His mighty move is manifest every Sunday through signs and wonders.

OUR PASTOR
Rev. Dr. Ernest V. George is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Garden City International Worship Centre, an interdenominational church in the city of Bangalore, India. He has been serving the Lord in the capacity of Pastor, Singer, Evangelist, Tele-evangelist and Motivational Speaker for the last 39 years.
Pastor Ernest suffered intensely as a child with an inferiority complex because of a speech impediment. He decided to become a medical doctor as this involved minimal amount of speech. However, God gave him a supernatural vision at the tender age of eight - a vision of him preaching to a large multi-cultural crowd. Although it seemed unbelievable to this stammering child, he held onto this vision until God healed him miraculously at a youth crusade at the age of seventeen. Having given up his medical admission, he joined Bible College and decided to serve the Lord in full-time ministry. After pursing his higher studies in Australia, he returned to India to pioneer a Bible College, Discipleship Training Centre, at no cost for under-privileged youth who were interested in serving the Lord. In 1994, he founded Garden City International Worship Centre, a multicultural interdenominational church located in Bangalore, India. In the Year 1999, he was one the pioneers in preaching the Gospel on Indian Television. His unique style of preaching and singing is captivating and draws in the presence of God in a distinctive way!
Today, God has immensely blessed His ministry and taken him across the globe to countries like Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, USA, UAE, Trinidad and South Africa to name a few. He has been a great blessing to the body of Christ and has been a mentor to several pastors, musicians and worship leaders. God’s anointing on his life has been attested by signs, wonders and miracles. He has also authored a daily devotional “HEALING TOUCH” which has been great source of motivation and encouragement to several believers and preachers. Many lives are being transformed by his powerful ministry.
