Senior’s Fellowship

A senior fellowship at Garden City International Worship Centre specifically designed for older adults, typically those aged 60 and older. The purpose of this group is to provide a sense of community, spiritual support, and social connection for a demographic that may face unique challenges, such as retirement, loss of a spouse, or health issues.

PURPOSE

Fellowship and Community: To provide a welcoming environment where seniors can build friendships, share life experiences, and support one another.

Spiritual Growth: To deepen their  faith and enable them to combat issue like isolation and loneliness  through word of God tailored to their needs and interests.

Communion: To create a link between older members and the younger generations in the church, fostering a sense of a church family that spans all ages.

ACTIVITIES

• Prayer: Our elders are the prayer warriors of our church. We have various prayer groups and fellowship both online and offline where are seniors can come together for a time of prayer.

•  Luncheon and Games:  Worship, Word, Prayer and followed by a hearty and healthy fellowship lunch . We usually finish with a lighthearted activity or game to maintain the joyful atmosphere.
